When Rimac first unveiled the car, the company announced that it would be able to accelerate from 0-100 kilometers per hour in 1.85 seconds. This is equal to around 100 miles per hour in just 4.2 seconds.

It was faster than the current Tesla Roadster, which accelerates from 0-100 kilometers per hour in 3.0 seconds and has a top speed of 248 miles per hour.

Next on the list of fastest electric cars is the Tesla Roadster, which is also the quickest. The zero-to-sixty time is an impressive 2.9 seconds, and it can go up to 248 miles on a single charge.

It’s pricey, though: at $250,000, only wealthy people or those with good credit will be able to afford one.

Nio, an EV company in China, claims that their car can go from 0-124.81 mph in 7.1 seconds and will stop at 188.96 mph (this is significantly faster than the current records for either category).

Apart from its insane top speed, the EP9 is also a force to be reckoned with regarding acceleration. From 0-60 mph, it takes 2.7 seconds, so for a better idea of how fast this car is, think about an F1 car starting from a standstill or a Lamborghini Aventador accelerating off of the line!
