GregLu, 02 Sep 2022I was interested (I have Note 10+ and S22U 512 ATM) until I saw the price, then remembered the... more I've seen Sony give away wf1000xm4 when they were new for free and some sim providers have discounts on that, wait for them until buying

Anonymous, 10 hours agoI cant compare 1/2.55" to 1/2.75" , but you guys think it is fair comparing 1/1.67&q... more There's a difference between comparing sensors that belong in different classes and phone cameras that belong in the same grade (e.g. "Flagship", "High-end", "Upper midrange" etc). By your logic, you should be criticising this phone for having a tiny 1/3.4" sensor for the telephoto camera when other phones provide larger sensors often with a greater reach in magnification. You can put a smaller sensor on your flagship phone all you want, but you can still expect it to be pitted against offerings from other companies and considered to be lacking because of your deliberate choice of using such a sensor. For instance, OnePlus deserves criticism for using the relatively tiny JN1 on 10 Pro to replace the much superior IMX766. But that doesn't make JN1 an objectively "bad" sensor compared to its peers, such as IMX663.

Nick Tegrataker, 23 hours ago JN1 is meant to compete with IMX663, which is similar in terms of size. I cant compare 1/2.55" to 1/2.75" , but you guys think it is fair comparing 1/1.67" to 1/1.3", 1/1.12" or even 1". 🤣 I suppose the person wanted instead rear 8 and 2MP like xiaomi 12T Pro that will be sold for over €800.

Anonymous, 02 Sep 2022 There is always gift, other charge more and offer nothing I don't need gift, I need a longer software support coming from Sony ... And a 'regular' price :P

Anonymous, 02 Sep 2022 good must be the JN1 used on chinese phones. Sensor worse than old imx363 JN1 is meant to compete with IMX663, which is similar in terms of size.

Anonymous, 02 Sep 2022 good must be the JN1 used on chinese phones. Sensor worse than old imx363 even worse, omnivision sensors (not all though) they produce so much noise compared to sony sensors

Of course there is some good (and some nice) but at 1049 EUR, it's a hefty price for the 'offering', again. Read the room, Sony 😜
